New Fee Increase for Nonimmigrant Visa Applications

As of June 4, 2010, the fees for various nonimmigrant visa applications will be raised as follows:

  1. Most NIVs and adult BCCs: $140
  2. Petition-based NIVs (H,L,O,P,Q,R): $150
  3. K category: $350
  4. E category: $390

According to the Department of State, the new fees may allow the agency to offer expedited visa service. The new fees, however, do not eliminate or otherwise impact existing visa reciprocity fees.
