The State Department has announced that the fees for a US Passport will be $135 for first time applicants and $110 for adults who are renewing expired passports. Through July 12, 2010, the fees for first time applications and renewals continue to be $100 and $75, respectively. The fees for the US Passport Card are also scheduled to increase to $55 for first time applicants and $30 for renewals. The complete fee schedule is available here.
