H-1B Advanced Degrees Usage Moves Closer to Limit for FY07

On July 7, 2006, the US CIS provided an updated count on H-1B advanced degrees usage. Of the 20,000 H-1Bs for persons holding U.S. advanced degrees (Masters or higher), 14,249 have been used for fiscal year 2007. US CIS added that there are approximately 700 petitions which have not yet been entered and issued receipts.
